    Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

For the ones who know me well Christmas is my favourite time of the year…after summer, obviously! As Christmas is a time for reflection, this year I want to thank everyone around me. A special thank you to my family for their support as they spend Christmas away from me and a very BIG thank you for all the NURSES working over Christmas, you ROCK!!

I am so blessed for my life and all the love that I have around me. Thank you for supporting me in my new recent adventure into the bloggers world, you’re awesome!

I had only experienced Portuguese Christmas traditions before I left Portugal in 2012. Since then I have experienced other types of Christmas: working, travelling, English Christmas and now for the very first time, a Danish Christmas! I must say I am very excited as this year I have had enough time to prepare all the decorations, cakes and food that I wanted so that I can capture my favourite bits of Portuguese Christmas here in Denmark, although having the family around will be missed – thank goodness for Facetime!

Christmas in Copenhagen will be special though as it will be the first Christmas just me and my husband… and the cats too! I am excited for what next year will bring me and hope to continue to have your feedback and advice as they make me stronger and a better blogger.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas full of hope, happiness and love!

    Hugs
    Amalia
